El Cacha currently runs two group classes per week and is available for private class bookings from Monday through to Saturday mornings.

Group Classes

Tuesday - 19:15 to 20:30 - Intermediate to Advanced (The German Club)

In this class we explore a variety of Tango styles and themes ranging from the elegant turns and intimate embrace of Tango Salon to the daring wraps and intricacies of Tango Nuevo. We also introduce choreography in this class to explore the performance dimension of Tango. Dancers who
have a firm foundation in Tango may attend. The aim of this class is versatility, exploration and above all else... to have fun, be in the moment and enjoy dancing.

Wednesday - 19:00 to 20:00 - Post-Beginners (The German Club)

In this class we build on our foundation and solidify the basics. With a comfortable repertoire of steps we can now focus on technique and smooth execution of what we already know. We start exploring turns,
the dynamic Tango embrace, floorcraft, Tango etiquette and much more while always remembering to have fun, be in the moment and enjoy dancing...

Thursday - 19:00 to 20:00 - Beginners (Hodgson Hall)

This class is about walking your way into the world of Tango with confidence, elegance and
strength. The focus of this class is walking, building a technical foundation, finding comfort with your partner and above all
else... to have fun, be in the moment and enjoy dancing.

Private Lessons

Private lessons can be arranged with Latino or Jackie. Full hour and half hour classes are offered. Please see contact page for details. Semi private lessons can also be arranged - the cost of a private lesson can be split amongst a maximum of 6 students.
